A few shots from a fairly recent trip to LV.
Fremont Street is ALWAYS and interesting place, the old casinos have the most character.
For the "older" people, like myself, this is the area that created the "myth" of Las Vegas. This is the area that appeared in the old Elvis movies, the original "Ocean's Eleven" with Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin. The legendary parties that the "Rat Pack" used to have in their house outside of town. The bungalows that used to be on the side of the golf course. Of course, now the bungalows and golf course are gone. The area is now covered with "new" casinos.
I kinda miss the old stuff.
